Terry, a good drag racing friend of mine and my crew chief Mike and brother of a Dover Drag Strip racer Mike Doyle was in a very bad motorcycle accident Tuesday.His brother told me this morning that he will be taken off life support!
Keep him and his family in your prayers.Terry is on the right in the pic next to his wife and with friend Jack at “our perch” under the Bud sign at ETown !
OH, and please do’nt use your phone while driving!!!!!

This is a ‘damned’ shame! This could have been well avoided! Not picking on,but it’s usually the young that use ‘texting’ while driving! Never understood why ‘texting’ came about? It’s like a step ‘backwards’ for communication (like the ole morris code or tella type they had year’s ago,before the telephone).They say if your texting at 55 mph,for 4 seconds, the distance you’d travel,would be 3 football fields,as you look back up,on the road! My condolences go out to Terry’s family.

Cakes is Right…We’re losing our youth to non-verbal communication…most can’t carry on a logical ,meaningful conversation with each other…brains go to mush…try to get a good job when you say “Yo HW R U ” Just redoing a sign a lady drove through and died thanks to a guy texting and T-Boning her at about 50.Never saw her…never hit the brakes. Totaled the car…he walked away .This was in a rural intersection with No traffic and wide open fields all around. Shame.Give Mike a hug from the Dover Family when you see him.

Its been a year since Terry was killed by a person using a cell phone while driving and now that person is getting sent to prison for killing him!

VBOB…We lost one of operators here at the power plant last fall due to another person texting. He was pulled over on the side of the road(legally) and had to check his tiedowns on a trailer. 19 year old girl comes from behind and plows into his trailer. He was crushed in between trailer and tow vehicle. Sad part his wife could not do anything to help him there. Simply put…STOP F***ING TEXTING WHILE DRIVING!!
