I raced at Dover during the 69 and 70 seasons. I was there just about every Sunday that you were open and sometimes even when you were not ( snow days ).
I have attached a few pictures from the track circa 69 – 70. Doubt that you’ll remember, but when I was driving the red Opel in the photos, you were calling me the “hole shot king” over the P.A. The Opel ran “V” stock and would beat just about everything off the line for 25-50 feet. The other car I ran was a “K” stock 70 Duster shown parked in my drive.
