Modified Roadster class…??? or was it by then the Compatition Class…???
Got to be an Altered by ’63 for sure …Comp roadsters were basically rails with a body …then again ,might be wrong ….Had to do with engine setback and wheel base. Anybody have a photo of this painted ? and Who was it ?
It looks to me like the engine is too far back. Must be within 25% of wheelbase for Altereds. You may be right. It’s a very strange looking beast there.
That guy may have had an early Funny Car frame and put the fiberglass ‘Vette body to it.
Some hot rods are nothing more than the product of the parts that somebody is able to get his hands on at the time.
Sure . . . the Vette’s cool, but is that the A&B Speed Shop Junior Fueler in the background? That thing was badass! Logghe chassis, small-block Chevy, and ‘ya gotta love those crazy, bent (forward) injector stacks. One of the baddest in the land!
Ok …Watch for New Photos Just recieved of A&B car ….STILL need guys to find info on the Vette !
