Found -Wingdale,N.Y. 1966 Ford ,Glass Nose, Radised wheelwells, In Primer, Big Block, Tear-drop hood scoop, Buckets, Interior fair, Hurst 4-speed, Dover Kill stickers /speed decals, body fair…not a fast back.In respect for Owner recently passing away ..are not devulging Street-house ,in respect to Widow. Appears he was not original owner.BRIAN Found on “tip” at Wingdale Cruise, last night & talked to the widow. Will Be reporting more as we get .Said she would ‘probably’ sell it. PHOTOS…Later today.

Brian has photos yet to be sent and he corrected me …It’s a Fairlane ,not a galaxie.

66 427 fairlanes had forward facing scoops like Jim Ryans. Teardrops ended with the Thunderbolt, maybe 66 Mustang. I think I did see a pic of a Fairlane with a teardrop hood and thinking he’s got the wrong hood 😮

BosMan…think this one won’t be original, sounds a little “modified” …cut out wheel wells and all. Gasser style BUT ,don’t know til we get the photos.

Already have people saying “Ive got Cash”…without even seeing …SO here it is 🙂 Check the Win Decals on this one …1972…I zoomed in on the mess in the front end…whats going on there?…Body looks ready to sand & paint. Inside emblems stored , say Fairlane 500…390

Brian, did you lift the hood? Single 4bbl or 2? It seems to sit kinda high, does it have a straight front axle? Does it have a scattershield? Roll bar or cage? What type of traction devices? Is it in a barn or sitting outside? Thanks

BossGuy thinks it’s Stiil There…Maybe she’s “getting Tired” of looking at it …Need a Wingdale ‘operative’ to do a ‘recon’. ‘Upstairs Bob’ ,Bob Casey Or Rich Head …Maybe Romeo? Casey won’t make a gasser out of it …It’s not a chevy. But I can See it at the 2nd annual Nostalgia Drags !

ITS BACK!….FOR SALE ON CRAIGS LIST!:
….It Was Garaged and looks like the guy has found all the parts and assembled…the grills back.See First posts at beginning when Brian found it in Aug 2009.Would be great if we could find photos iof it at track…Gotta ask that “widow” to check here photo album.

This is a 1966 ford fairlane 500. it is a complete car i have all parts 390 motor is in engine bay but not mounted. the motor was rebuild, set in place then no further work was performed. This is an old dover drag strip winner from the 70″s. many orginal win stickers on the back window. There is no damage no rust, orginal 4 spd car. $4500. obo. contact ALLEN at 845 702 0689

😀 Just talked to the guy (Allen) …his father got it from some “guy” in Westchester in a trade .He helped him rebuild the engine…and a week later passed away..It was originally green. Rebuilt 390 wth 4-BBL. – Stock front end and spare motor in garage goes with it .
