yes , the super mod. classes started in 1975 with A/SM . in 1976 it went to A,B and C/SM . very strict engine and body rules . this was the begining of econo classes , nothing econo about it . in 76 I started traveling the nhra curcuit and started doing pretty good ,winning the div one points race at e-town in 77 and was very close to winning the div. championship that year .I was on a roll that year and actually made money raceing .had some sponsors and I was living a dream . I will never ,ever forget those couple of years I wish I had kept all the articles that were in Natl. Dragster and all the hats and jackets that I won .
