Oh yeah…we forget…AMX…Javilins…Rebels ,all the hot AMC cars …they really got into it …We had a Bunch ..Ok AMC -Check -IN ! Did they “copy” GM ?…engine wise…And Why did the “High Performance” program just Stop?

I only knew on e guy from dover, Rick Redfern from kelly Motors in vails Gate. I think he lurks here, because he contacted me once and he’d found me through this site, I think. He ran “Gulliver’s Travels” a ’69 Hurst SC/Rambler, which was a 390 4-speed car.

over 10 rolls of film were lost when the department store
Barkers or Ames, forgot the name, lost them and gave
my brother new rolls WOP-EEE.

I have a picture of my brother racing a Javelin

Arnie actually had Official Auto Parts in White Plains as a partial sponsor as did Castaldo, Vic Ferris and myself……In the Castaldo pics that I just sent you will find a Pic of Arnie, Fred Beyers (Official AP owner) and Louie (I forgot his last name) with Arnies car………………….Don………

i saw frank a few years ago at cruise nite in derby ct. he has another AMX w/bds supercharged amc engine. all work done by him.Stahls is now an office supply store.the amx in the picture ran low 11’s when he sold it. orig crossram car.we saw it at ct. dragway with a 440 MOPAR stuffed in it! (to go along w/the dana 60 frank put in.) there is also a rebel like 2dr. running around the area. MIGHT be the one in the picture posted.
