Dover had some great Funny Car match races back in the day. All the great cars ran at Dover at one time or another. We ran a injected 2400lbs fuel ’65 Dodge altered wheelbase. At many of the match races, we were a back up car if one of the big names broke and could not finish the match race.

The photo you posted of Tom McCroan’s AWB car was a ’64 Plymouth and they put a “65 nose on it to update it as we did to the Plain Busted Dodge. It was called “Long Gone” untill they renamed it “The Funny Car”
