All ya had to do was find the ‘Fairbanks Racing Automatics” Topic ( Speed Shops Heading) and it said This:

First one on jerome ave.-Bronx,Then 42 St.NYC and of course Stamford. “Fairbanks” name from phone exchange name in Bronx “Fairbanks -0000’. Obsession was a 3spd stick shift. Anyone that had one of these things ( in a mopar ) will tell you what a pain they were. I don’t remember what et’s Hank was running that day, but he was loaded for bear. He had either 10 or 12 inch slicks, instead of the usual 7 inch cheater slicks that were legal for Super Stock back then. Even at that he was smoking them through second gear. He told me he was going to beat the Black Arrow even up. He had a beautiful, fast car, but I don’t think he had a snowballs chance. Don’t know if he broke something or if it just got squirrely, but he sure was lucky to walk away from it.
