DINO’s CHRISTMAS CARD

A CHRISTMAS MESSAGE TO OUR FAITHFUL…
Twas the night before Christmas ,
and all thru the track
not a race car was seen, they never came back
the tower was gone …even Dino’s Chair
in hopes that St Nick…
would put it back there.
the dover guys were sleeping
and crashed in thier beds
while visions of burn-outs
danced in thier heads.
When up in old Wingdale,
there rose such a buzz
even V-Bob arose ,to see what it was
out in New Haven …and all through the land
The dover guys knew ,there was a new plan.
The word was out, that soon back in town,
the race guys were coming
to party it down.
That Jolly old sole
in his modified Sleigh,
with eight blown motors
was making his way
….when out of the sky ,
he announced as he sped ….
Merry Christmas To all !
Now go back to bed

Dino,it’s been a ‘tough’ year for us O.D.F’s,with some great losses from our ole Dover buddies who have since departed,thanks for brightening our day with this ‘great poem you wrote.Gotta keep the DOVER SPIRIT going,and that’s what you do! Your the man! Seasons greetings to you and your family,along with health and happiness for the New Year,and that goes for ‘all’ the O.D.F members !!!!

Thanks guys…My present this year was the results of my wifes cardiac catherization test last week.Thought there might be a blockage – possible stint install, or worse, BUT …Nothing! ..she’s just on some meds now. Some guys knew and the Prayers worked .So we”ll have a Merry ! YOU TOO!

Had a heart cath about 5 years ago, and all was well. I know how you must have felt just waiting. Tree felt the same way. Glad all is good. 😆

Heading down to ‘Jersey’ from here in upstate N.Y. for just shy a week.Only time,once a year I get together with my 3 sisters.bro in laws,nieces,nephews, and there kids.We’ve been all blessed with another year of health and happiness! Let me tell you,it’s one ‘BIG’ party my sisters and I look forward to in our ‘golden years!!! It’s always been a ‘family’ tradition Dino,and oh.they still purchase real live Christmas trees(luv that smell of a ‘real’ tree)! Happy Holidays to two greatfull men, Dino,and Brian M.along with all the other O.D.F brothers and sisters!!! Party hard! Pete (Baby Cakes).
