FOOT RACES AT DOVER DRAG STRIP

HEY
Out of a sound winters sleep last nite it came back to me like a lot does every non then about the foot races during down time .OH,I remember running a few times and boy running full steam for a 1/4mile wasn’t easy even at 16 years old!
Anyone else run ,walk, crawl the 1/4 mile at Dover????

We did them for various Reasons ! seems to me -once when Both cars for a final Broke…Fill-in for Rain-out and Why Did YOU DO IT ?

Walked it a couple of times when I worked there, checking for debri and checking timing equipment at the big end
