Just had a great talk with John Galli – Westchester Automotive. John had the Chevy Gas coupe “Big Troubles” and later a Nova. Many of the southern Westchester cars were setup by John and his his crew . Still at it, at 75, working on his Nova to hit the track again !. He’s searching for the old Old coupe . Or might build a “Clone”
Hi from Gramdog1. John built a set of 48in. equal length headers for the Art Dury-Gramatan Dodge car in1964, I remember helping him. He was quite a character (headcase) back then!
Hay GramDog… didn’t those MoPar wedges like yours come from the factory with good streemlined headers…?
Yea, the wedge cars had great exhaust manifolds but they weighed a ton, John’s headers were not only lightweight but they looked real cool. The length tuned them for low to midrange maximum torque and hp.
According to Dennis Tate he has the coupe and is restoring it.
Someone should get John and this car out to the reunion and race.

Pat just went by Old news on Tates Website…I’ll call John and see whats up.
