THIS IS BIG …Real BIG Hundreds of photos …OVERWELMING 😯
In a Gracious gesture…Brian has SENT us His Entire REAL Photo Print Collection in his actual Albums that he has spent years collecting from all over …you may have seen them at the Reunion. It will take a Few Days to scan & edit them all and return the treasured collection back to him .

Now if we even attempted to post 10% of them in the “PHOTOS” Forum Heading it would go to about 40 pages and melt down our virtual memory & crash the server. BUT we can create a seperate Photo Gallery Page to handle it all as we did with the T.O’Shea Collection that became our ODF Members Gallery.

ALL OF IT 😛 from two sources ..Tink Shaeffer..owner/driver of “Bewitched” CC/G ’55 blown chevy and Cathy V. , friend of “The Earthshaker” crew…think she raced too. papasmurph spent all afternoon scanning ,correcting color, brightness, contrast and only got though half….and he’s fast.

                    And… spaning what years…? I was a Dover fan from 1961 to 1965.

If this photo collection is too large for practical purposes, perhapse you could break it down to say five equal sized units and rotate them each for a two week period of time. That would keep people comming back. OR… just sell them on a CD-ROM, I’d buy it…!

                    Does anyone have a picture of Anthony “Tinny” Vistano’s ’40 Chevy Gas Coupe…??? C/G I believe…

                    Attn: Dino & Co.

Some Internet Photo Album formats allow loggers to post short comments pertaining to each individual photo. Wouldn’t that be cool here…?

maso: this Collection from 2 sources is from late68 , alot of 69 and 70…that “caps’ the T.O/Shea collection that was 65+. We have ANOTHER BATCH coming from 62-64 that will give us a pretty good span with the exception of few Early stuff (61-62) .

Not going the Cd Photo for sale route…that’s not practical when we can load it all to the site….one time for All.

WE CAN put it all together and rotating would be unfair …not everyone on every week ,every day…they’d miss something along the way

You can post as many replys and comments to any ‘submitted’ photos in Photo Forum heading our any place else….thats happening all over now. We can post anyones photos for them if sent by reg. mail or e-mailed.

Not going to outside Photo Format providers..Our stuff cost too much not to use as we already are. Too much linking, confusion , and more mumbo-jumbo to fight thru….we have it all here with the forsight to add future features as we will with this project. Never intended the ODF Gallery to ‘House’ just the O.S’HEA stuff and stay that way. Built -in expansion compatible waiting for just this kind of opportunity ….and More we hope!

THESE LARGE COLLECTIONS once cleared by owners are going to be Added to the The exsisting ODF -‘T’OShea Premium Members Gallery Due to there size and the software we used “to Build it’, allows us almost unlimited memory and expansion capabilities.

THAT WILL BE RENAMED AS “ODF PREMIUM MEMBERS PHOTO GALLERY “-featuring the T’O’Shea Collection .With CREDIT TO these first two providers (and hopefully more).

As of today …and the percentages seem to hold steady…almost Half of registered Forum MEMBERS ARE ODF members. We’ve checked out a lot of comparible sites from Rock Bands to whatever and they want more for “member access’ promotions on a yearly basis and don’t give ya a bang for your Buck like we do .

Also for security purposes and to cut down on some copywrite isseus …its better to “stash” the GOOD stuff in a secure location.,with full ID of those accessing. Our site should remain exclusive and treasured in some catagorys.

We also are going to Reformat the Regular Photo section into easier to navagate sub headings.

We’re committed to keep the expansion and remodeling on a regular basis .
OUR biggest Project is to Produce ‘The Big VIDEO” documentary…thats where we’ll spend most of our time…..not making CD photo albums. Thats probably going to require a trip to the northeast to interview key people ,go to the site and do a lot of digging around.

                                Okay…

About the Tink Scheifer Collection. Somebody help me with this…

Looking at pictures: 20a, 20b, 20d and 19a… I see Ron Abbott’s “Helz-a-Poppin” and a blue wedge powered rail with an interesting looking frame.

I seem to remember a race one late Sunday afternoon between either those two or Abbott’s and another simmilar blue car that ended in a dead heat. Both cars crossed the finish line at the same time and the clocks couldn’t tell which one.

Does anyone remember that too…? A rare thing indeed.
