Wow I find that very hard to believe with all the race tracks in the area. Are you sure they were 68’s? In 1969 7200 396 novas were built and in 1970 around 5500. With the limited production run of 901 68 396 novas I wouldn’t think a dealer would have 2 just sitting on there lot. But you never know.

Jason The Black 68 Nova was mine bought new by me at Byrne Bros. Chevrolet in White Plains,N.Y. It was orrginally Ash Gold but I had it painted black shortly after I got it. Had 396-375 4 speed,4.10 rear, black bench seat interior and bright window mouldings,cost $3000 out the door. Lee. 😆
