NETO race 6 was completed Saturday June 13 at Cecil County Dragway. Twenty three racers made the trip to Rising Sun MD for the race. Under partly cloudy skies with temps in the high 80’s and high humidity, we had a great race at one of the premier Nostalgia events in the mid-Atlantic. In Comp eliminator we had two first time finalists. George Andretta In his 1979 Malibu was the winner with a 9.44 on a 9.25 index. Mike Petrole in his 1969 Camaro was runner up running 9.03 on a 9.00 index. Congratulations guys on your first final.
In Nostalgia eliminator Christian Huebner in his “stealth” 1962 Falcon wagon returned to the winners circle. Christian ran a 10.95 on a 11.04 dial over red lighting runner up Fred Michel’s 1979 Monza’s 12.45 on a 12.48 dial.
