Comp and faster guys need to meet rules …9:99 or slower …come have fun….”some things tech guys kinda “OVERLOOK” …I didn’t say that. even though I did.

Well,Well…..no surprise here. I knew us ODF’s would feel this way about 4 wide (has that NASCAR lingo too). When ZMax was built I heard nothing but bad reports from the little guys who race there. Also, NMCA racers were not treated very well last year. Too bad…nice facility.
About NHRA…rumor has it some NHRA tracks will REQUIRE being a member even for bracket racing. Seems like an insurance deal. For years all tech cards had a spot for your NHRA membership # but not a requirement…maybe it’s coming?? I just rejoined this year just for the insurance..magazine etc. Oh yeah…got 2010 rulebook for $12 EXTRA!! Somehow this feels like a “healthcare” plan from DC. Anyway I have a 2010 rulebook if any questions come up for racing this season.

Hey Don,
I’m with you brother. NHRA is making a “super show” out of drag racing.
If they have to do 4 lane racing, it should just be an exhibition side show !
I’m with Pat on that NHRA membership when it runs out. I can use that
$70.00 membership fee to buy a 1 day General Admission ticket to a
NHRA event ! 🙂

ditto 4 wide racing sucks, maybe for qual. but that is it. race cut down to 1000ft. ,mufflers on cars, re do safty equip. every 2 years, no more rule book when you join. whats next left hand turns only.speedbump

I am no fan of four wide racing; wont watch it on tv. Wont go to the track to see it. The NHRA seems to be
trying to destroy drag racing a little bit more each year. One thing about being the age that most of us are
is that we got to see the real glory days of drag racing. That would be the sixties,seventies, and half of the
eighties.

That was dumb too…was it eliminations or what I remember as a Way to run off a lot time trials in a short amount of time.?

I have not seen or heard even 1 yes on this 4 lane crap….We should have everyone in our group answer this post and send the results to the scum at NHRA who are ruining drag racing….I’m sure they are hearing crap about it already and our results could only help…………What do you say guys?…………………….FTNHRA…………And Dino, That was for time trials on a busy day and exibition stuff only…
