Dino..that pic just cranked up my blood pressure!! Talk about flashbacks! For a live 2010 Dover reminder, similar to that pic, go to Atco Raceway in NJ. Pit side starting line, old wooden stands, 2 rows from the top. You’ll be looking down the track, old tower still there and return road on your right. Watch a pair of ’69 Camaro’s go down the track. I’m not the first person to notice this similarity. Kinda weird but cool.

I was racing Al Oakes “Growler” ,with my ’38 coupe, exploded the clutch/flywheel assy.,and landed in the swamp. 😡 .I guess that was the equal of today’s sand trap. 😉
