If you remember,Dover at one time gave out neat Brass plaques for Eliminator wins. Of Course you got the Trophy & money. Few remain .If You won 10 Eliminators,there was a Big Pepsi sponsored Trophy…some years a gigantic one at the end of the season for most ‘points’. Ronnie Morehead has three of those for 10 straight Stock Wins. But ole “Skeet” in the Lane Motors mopar racked up 43 eliminator wins ….and probably more. Few cars Never stopped running like his…just a few ,like Vinnie Lyons Cobra. here’s a shot at an old Reunion of his Plaque board …impressive! thanks to “RoxRec” for reminding me .
