        Ah…YES…!!!

What a time we had, back in the day…

They told us…we could “Run What We Brung…” and that’s exactly what we did. That was “Seat of The Pants” drag racing, and did we love it…!!! Not like today, with these “formulated” hot rods where it looks like the blueprint for those cars comes right outta’ someones rule book. Oh no…! we went up to the line with both our works AND our ideas…and you hadda’ love THAT…!!!

Anyway…this particular day…we hadda’ go up against that Eddie Hill fella’ from Texas, so, we jus’ figgered we could hook up a little extra horsepower…you know what I mean… Anyway…we took ‘im real good off the line…but ran outta’ fuel about half track…!!! Ain’t that bad…?! Then I hadda’ go do a valve adjustment and didn’t make it to the next round.

        😀

        I’m a Mean Mojo…
        Yes I am…
and when it comes to racin’…
        I’m a bad racin’ Man.

So…if you come to the track…
        and…you’ve got a plan…
        I’ll show you your trailer…
’cause I’m a Mean Mojo Man.

        And…when the light’s drawn…
and the dust is all clear…
        look for me…
        look for my rear.

        Way down the track…
        and after the win…
        that’s just my drag chute…
        flowin’ in the wind.

        So…you’ll never beat me…
        ’cause I’m so much faster…
        Ain’t no use cryin’…
        you’ve been beat by a Master…!!!

        😉

        Anyway…

It didn’t take ol’ Eddie Boy very long to catch on…

The car looks pretty impressive but did you see the truck and trailer he used to tow that rig around in? 🙄
