TONY "Adman" NERI Still selling

Just had a talk with Tony Neri ,who ran the “Adman” chevy II. Pics of his car in ODF Gallery. Tony worked with his Dad back then ,at Neri Advertising in Bridgeport,Ct. They supplied the track with the T-shirts, Win decals and even the Officials jackets. I designed them and they got ’em made. Tony is presently Corp. Sales manager at Water’s Edge Resort and Spa in Westbrook ,Ct. expect him to check in soon.

When we last talked to Tony ….it was AUG .! well Tony’s a little slow (Busy)…JUST talked to him again today …seems he forgot his password -DUH…there Is a “I forgot my password” feature right where you log in …Well…back to the story… got him fired up and hopefully we will see him post soon . He related how the ADMAN Chevy II meet with its demise after rolling it 7 times at Englishtown in around 76-77. Back end floated on top end (needed a wing) and ker-blewy. 😮 Loaded his motor and trans into Scinto’s camaro and went racing some more. He’s busy scanning photos to send us and his user name is: asneri ….now lets get him to put together something for the Danbury Reunion AND the Nostalgis Drags

Thanks Bob…that would be the first paint and lettering with Tony running SS/D…then a ‘few” modifications put him in Pro-Stock….Kinda 😉 or C/Gas legal

Wildest paint job I’d seen in person on a race car up till that time. Ink spots on the roof panel. Loved them, too, did them on my Morris Minor that I drove to high school.
(Caddy Firemist Blue with green and gold flames, and 3-D snakes and ink spots on the deck lid) It was hideous! But it got me interested in custom painting, and I’ve done a few good jobs between now and then. Nothing like the pros today, though
