Bob checked to see if his truck spare was ok …and found the spring shackle rusted so bad …it was ready to break. Had to work -so to the rescue was Paul B.Took his truck,.got the part, took it to his Willys Garage..On the way -it did break.welded it and took it back ,for Bob to drive home in after work…The Lithuanian Locomotive Pilot…Some kind of nice guy! So Bob will hook up the Vega at 4 am and head to Island.

V-Bob first time out at the Nostalgia Drags Time Trail Day. Race report….The Cars a rocket…Lettered now as V-BOB Racing Team..Got through tech and had some glitches .like decided not start. SO TO the Rescue …FRED EGLOFF AND BILLY CASEY ..Yup..We have photos of Billy and Fred under the hood…Classic Dover Guy Stuff. Of Course The Yonkers Speed legends fixed him up in no time…First runs low 11’s then…consistant 10.5…Big Smiles all around .
