                Dino,

                Any information on ‘Monkey Time’
                SS/A class in 1967.
Had to be a 1964 or 1965 Mopar Race Hemi.

Also, ‘Northeast Raider’, the 63′ Plymouth Max-Wedge 426/425 HP (Aluminum-nose) car.
Not sure if that car was at Dover in 1967, but if it was, it would have
                been classed in SS/BA.

And, there was a 1967 427/425 HP, Ford Fairlane or Mercury Comet ‘Northern Comet’ or ‘Northern Star’
that ran in SS/B in 1967.

                        Dino,

Yes, the ‘Northern Comet’ was a Gasser in 1964 and 1965.

But somebody had a nice 67′ 427/425 HP Fairlane or Comet that ran in SS/B in 1967.

                        Other cars,,,1967 Super Stock Competitors;

                            Dino,

                            I found the car.

                            “Sounds of Silence”
                            Richie Marcy,,,,,,,,1966 Ford Fairlane,,,,,,,,,
                            1967 Super Stock Class,,,,,SS/BA

The car was an original 1966 Fairlane 427/425 HP 4-speed car.

But Carmel Ford converted it to an automatic, with a Fairbanks transmision, so it could run in SS/BA in 1967.

As per Drake, Richie bought it from Carmel Ford.

😀 😀 😀 Paulie…Richie’s ’66 427 car wuz one the 50 or so…Ford Motor Company produced in 1966…he “blew” 2 engines early on…which we able to replace under the factory warranty…by engine # 3….Richie figured a fluid-coupling (automatic ) transmission would be a lil’ easier on “parts”…as Ford wasn’t on “board” for a third “free” engine (they really weren’t too enthusiastic about the slicks/Class Designation on the windows, etc.)…technology was not then what it is today…convertor-wise…took awhile but he got it going pretty ok…but nothin’ like those wheels up “banzai” stick-shift starts… 😆 😆 😆 Richie & his wife were really good people…a “gentle” giant 😆 😆 😆 sure didn’t/don’t think…that I ever want (ed) him “mad” @ me!!! 😆 😆 😆 the Krawjewski Brothers of Bridgeport owned the “Northern Comet”…first raced in 1966…originally A/G…later B/G…was awesome executed car-mechanically/cosmetically too…in all ways…back in the day…when you actually “built” your own car…want (ed) ‘dem boyz…on my side too…just in “case” of any pending…”fracas”…U…get the idea 😆 😆 😆 Drake

There had to be at least one 1967 Z-28 Camaro running in SS/E in 1967.
Or at least a SS 350 Camaro.

The damn Camaro cars were all over the place back then.

From Curry Chevrolet or Byrne Brothers…
