Very nice John, as far as the odometers, Nate Cohen (Nazy Crate) set all his to 427.
Roxy I was going to ask what a T-bolt looks like without the raised bumper 😕 Then the synapses in my front lobal cortex kicked in and told me to look at “Maters” so I scroll back 1 page and sure enough 😮 the answer to my search without using the search function :P. My wife and daughter made cookies for all the ODF’s, oh wait I’m an ODF. Sorry guys they where good 🙄 🙄 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ye8mB6VsUHw

Some more Nazy Crate memories. When Tom Caldera finished painting the car it went to the car show at Westchester County Center. (1976 I think?) While there a fellow comes up to Tommy and says, “Larsen Ford still has one of those bumpers”. (Alum front bumper). Tommy says , “yeah OK” but it bugs him and on monday he calls Greg the parts mgr. Greg confirms they still have a NOS one. Tommy says how much? Greg says 25.00. Tommys says, I’ll be right there!
………… ok ok ok BOSSMAN ROXREC correct me if I am wrong ,Gliddens car originally was Gas Rondas ❓ ❓ right ❓ and where is NAZY CRATES car ❓ ❓ and yes the bumper probably help push someair up to the ram tubes ,but was also rasied to put the tow tabs right ❓ ………. ❓
‘Bout time for Drake to give us the history lesson on ‘Nazy’ ….and Who can list All the T-bolts that ran Dover? hit the Odf Galleries…ther’es a bunch. Did Rye Ford have one ? …Dobbs Ferry Ford-Tasca-Larson …who else?
Da ‘Bossguy” adds to the T-Bolt Story:
” I just scanned these 3 pics of Nazy Crate Tom Caldara (owner of this car) raced at Dover with theSemmes Ford (Scarsdale) 66 Fairlane. He is a longtime friend of Drakes and painted a few of Drakes cars. I’ve known him since I was 13 in Yonkers and he had a beautiful black 63 Galaxie 427
Thanks again and Merry Christmas, Jack Karl”
….. ok ok guys….. BOSSMAN you probably know whos or wheres DRAKES car seen a picture at Jacks parts department at pleasant valley one time hanging up on the wall ❓ ❓ and looks like tom from yonkers painted that car ❓
I had both Tommy and Drakes T-bolts hangin in PV. Drakes went to Sweden but someone said it was back in the US of A. Drake should be chiming in here.
Here is a link to the Gas Ronda car – lowest ‘Bolt Vin, but not #1 in delivery line (that was Dick Brannen, head of Ford’s Drag Council):

Also: Joe – my bumper is as high as it can possibly be, and I still had to file notches in the bumper to fit the tow tabs.
The rear wheel well has been lengthened, the lip is rolled, and the “T-bolt cut” has been made on the rocker panel. Nine inch slick fits in there nicely.
I wonder what “The Team” had to say to Phil Bonner when he got back to the shop??????
When are you leaving for Fla. ❓
