Can’t say anything bad about Ct. Dragway………..They were good to me always……When Fitzy was there I would have lunch in the tower with them………Real good crew…….. 😀
Don his son Mike is at Lebanon Valley every week racing his dragster.
Used to go to CT with Clem LaChance and his Maverick and I would run my Cobra Jet….

wow 😯 yup what a bummer man this was there last season. i went there / started my dragbike racing carreer in 1984 and went again in 1985 for the dragbike summernationals before there announcement of them closing the track . dam i miss that place 😡

I never knew about that Pennsoil ‘stunt-plane’ till now at Dover,sorry I missed it.I remember Brian M. told me that during the week,a small plane would come there at times,dropping off supplies for the track also.Thanks V Bob for sharing.
i just found this photo of my second year in dragbike racing up at connecticut dragway in 1985 on my pro stock harley hitting it off the line into another 9.85 e.t. second pass at 135 m.p.h. i cant believe that 27 year’s have past already since then. and now realizing that time really does fly by since i was out there having nothing but fun back then. 😀
