        Check this out..Ain’t the internet Great.!…Got this reply from Ed’s SON:
        …(Asking If it was His Or did he know anything )

        Dino;
        No, it is not. I am actually Ed Cortopassi Jr. and the Glass Slipper never made it that far east. There was a car owned by Romeo Palimedes called the Romeo that looked similar to the car in the photo.
        Thanks for the inquiry.
        Ed

        The Romeo…today:

        Simmilar… But I still don’t think it’s that same.
        The pointed nose is slightly different and the curve of the cowling were the wind screen ends doesn’t quite match.
        Study this and comment, please

                        GET THIS ….HE DROVE IT ! after his club: The Dragin Flies of new Rochelle bought it from the original owner and made it a Club Car ! He ran 155 @11.5 with only rear drum brakes (’48 Ford rear &Trans) and No Chute. As he says,”A guy named “Billy” had it first and drove it …might have been a partner in it . He worked for Petro Fuel and later worked with Dennie at B & L Automotive”. Club member “Fat Larry” LaVeccio sold the Hemi motor and GET THIS —–> Rich thinks the car (less Motor) is still hanging from the rafters in Eric Graff’s brother’s Barn somewhere in Putnam or Duchhess county 😯 …………………………….More as we try to continue the story When we get more info…Field Dover CSI operatives are on the case .
