O.K., Noiseboy, what’s the deal showin’ up here with only one picture!? We need more!
Cool pix, How tall are those injector stacks from the base? The ones I mocked up are 12 inches and they look a bit short.
That Pandemonium is a wedge powered ride, yes? Looks like it runs good?
The injector stacks are no more than 12 inches from the base, the engine is set pretty high though.
Runs a 496 Wedge, best time to date is a 10.02 @ 123mph. We want to crack into the 9s this season.A real fun car to be involved with thats for sure!!
YES fun seekers ! …all the way from BOMBAY , NEW ZEALAND….wheels up , Detroit power , We World Wide !
Just an update on “Pandemonium”.Took her out for the NZ Nostalgia Drags on Sunday (1st time on the track for 12 months).
Had 2 real strong runs with big skyhooks but unfortunately on the third run we lost a trumpet most of the timing gear and a rod!!! Looks like it picked up a bearing and it was all over.But….we will return.
Also ran my 32 Roadster the day before at The Hot rod Club Champs the day before proudly displaying my Dover Decal!! That must make it the most “distant decal” to run the 1/4? Must qualify for a prize Dino??? Ha Ha 😆
I will post some pics soon.
You win ! Need a photo of that decal on the roadster…for the Boys!…Pack that A/FX bad-boy in a container …we’ll have our shipping clerk -Drake, get it here, and Video bob will pick it up at the docks in his Big truck….Run it at Island Dragway Oct 18 (Our Nostalgia Drags)….you’re a shoe-in for the long distance award 😆 lets see ….pacific ocean…panama canal….up the coast …Jersey docks …No problem
Howie Get that Rocket Done For Oct 18…don’t think New Zealand can pay for the Boat Ride so you’de be in the Running For Long Distance….Storm King …How’s yours coming along.?..If they’re not Finished… Show them In Nostalgia Display Area …Ya still get the Plaque And Decals !
Mine’s been sitting still since December when we lost our large building and our biggest customer. It’s sitting in the basement at home which means it’s not at the shop where we can work on it. All of my attention has been focused on thwarting this socialist thug we have in power right now. I’d love to come show off, but trying to save my country is taking presidence. http://www.firecongress.com; http://www.resistnet.com; http://www.taxdayteaparty.com
I`d love to have it done but that isn`t going to happen this year. The rear end will be altered this fall and then I will thrash at getting it to the track next spring. Also in the works is my rampbed crewcab that I am hoping to finish this year. Work has prevented me from getting a whole lot done this summer but that is a good thing considering the job market and economy.
Hey Howie! You’ve poked yer head up!
If I can get new wheelwells in the Dart, and get the interior painted, and come up with tow money, I’ll make it. Otherwise, we miss it.
I am waiting on fall to get back on the afx. Once the rear is altered it will be thrashing time. In the mean time I am gathering parts for the 34 and the wing car project. Got a pair of firestone whitewall piecrust slicks from speedway the other day. Had them mounted ready for the 34. Gary, I met Guy last week at Tom Hanna`s shop.He was the one I sold my KB block to. He was down picking up his top fuel nostalgic car from being rebuilt. This is the Car that Tommy Ivo had an altercation with Don Garlits a couple of years ago.
I think Howies been pretty swamped at work. I’ll give him a call and see if I can’t get him on here to give us an update.
