                RON NORMAN from Illinois…is planning to Finish the ‘black’ Jack Merkel car in time and bring it along with the green flake 33 willys. If all go’s as plans…he’ll have Jack there to reunite him with both cars. He’s working hard to make this happen.

                    Latest Syracuse Nationals “Gasoline Alley” news…(Got Both Ours and theirs grouped together in this topic)….Pats bringing the MG, Brians bringing his GTO and Dover Display…also Walter Hassellmans Willys, Pats ‘Verminator. Ted Tines Fueler- Bobby Schlegel and a few more -SEE PHOTOS on flyer Updated With PAM…OH Jungle Pam ‘s Coming… wish we could get her for Dover Drags…But not available. Many Cars won’t be available for either as Syracuse Falls on weekend of an Epping ,N.H. NHRA event and the Ohio “Meltdown Drag”s…Our race falls on the same weekend as Cecil County NHRA div.1 event But not as restrictive…Got time —always looking.

                                    K – “In the day with Rodalyn at the controls, this Duster roamed the east coast turning consistent 7.30 laps with a best run of 7.10 @ 197 mph. In 1975 she held both of the New England Dragway BB/FC records of 7.35 et. and 189.7 mph. Now the trio attends car shows around New England where the flopper still cackles”…she ain’t a”girl” anymore.But then again …we ain’t “boys” anymore.

                                            CALLING ALL NOSTALGIA DRAG CARS….DRAG ALLEY getting lots of response….TO PARTICIPATE AND GET FREE ENTRY …Go to SHOW CAR ENTRANCE (On Right Of Spectator Gate) Tell them Your’e for “DRAG ALLEY”…Our guys well direct you to park in designated area…Check in by 9am OR come in Sat (Stay over ? ) …Gate Personnel Will be advised …Limit 4 Free admission Per Car.

                                                DRAG ALLEY IS A SUNDAY ONLY DISPLAY….Can’t use that area for sat/Sunday overnight parking, due to Dirt track spectator parking Sat night.

                                                    Just In From Sal Carbone ….( for DRAG ALLEY) ..Dino, committed so far are: Zavarella’s ET SHAKER Altered, Whitney and Kutsavage Dog Catcher stocker, the “Doc Burgess” street Super Stocker built by Smertics, and my “Starship” Modified Production Camaro…..The Connecticut Dragway crew !! …Zavarellas Altered DID run at Dover once at the invitation of Antone -Swifty & Terenzios….and of Course Sal. All the Drag Alley Participants will get this T Shirt AND a Decal .
