Wow Dino,a ‘classic! A little research revield that they had ‘4’ engine options (223 cu in ‘6’,145 hp, 292 cu in V8 200 hp,332 cu in V8 250 hp,and the ‘big’ cube 361 V8 rated at 303 hp.) I’m guessing looking at the ‘engine’,and being a big wagon,looks like a 332 or the 361 ? Don’t see many of these around anymore! I’m trying to remember back,I think they had the push button automatic trans. selector in the middle of the steering wheel? Anyhow,it’s in ‘decent’ shape,and well worth restoring,especially if used to tow a ’50’s to 60’s era drag car to the track.

Well Dino, on April fools day I thought you wuz gonna tell the guys it was yours. Babycakes, the push button shifter was 58 only, too many problems. The car now sports a 429, C-6, 2:75 traction lock and 12″ front disc brakes all from a 69 Merc.

Very ‘NICE’ Bossguy ! Looking at the lower firewall.I suspect your going to paint the car like a ‘mint’ green? Front frame rails and upper suspension looking good too!

Actually, I’m in NY and the car and my son are outside Daytona Beach. The orange 70 Ranchero in the background is a car we did together about 7 years ago and it has a Dover DS sticker in the corner of the windshield. He picked out the color green and when I said “really?” he replied, “When you get YOUR Edsel you can paint it any color you want” LOL
