Wow, I know that car. The last I knew it was owned by a guy named Joe Verico who restored it. Years ago (1980s) it was owned by a guy named Pat Dougherty who is a good friend of a good friend of mine. Stayed in Stamford its whole life pretty much, it was a 440 Six Pack, 4 speed, Super Track Pack car. The original owner was arrested for racing it down at Kings, I don’t remember his name though. Do you have a link to the facebook page? This is the same car, probably in the late 80s.

That was his name, I couldn’t remember all I could think of was Bud but I knew that was wrong. He managed to blow the stock engine up while it was still under warranty as I recall.

Hey John……..I sold my old GS (Tucci’s old bike) to a guy in Stamford who ran there…….Only remember his first name..Willie…….I had alot of fun on the street with that bike but back in the day I only got 2 passes out of the air tank, then I had to shift manually…In 1st it would spin the tire and 2nd it would stand up then finally settle down..With the 4″ arm when it stood up it looked like a long way down…………. 😀 😀 😀 ………..Don……

Money was VERY good……… Our problem was once we delievered an ass whipping, no one else wanted to race us. 😡 We built motors for a number of Stamford street racers, and it seems that the ones that couldn’t ride well got the races. 😳 As soon as they put a good jockey on the bike, no one wanted to race. 😮
