Just wanted to say hi to everyone. My husband and i own 2 all steel willys. One is a 1940 coupe and the other is a 1940 willys pickup. Our coupe is a tribute car to the filthy forty which was owned by Charlie Hill and driven by Pork Zartman back in the 60’s. For the last 6 years we have been on tour with the S&S Race Team. Gassers are our favorite cars and we love nostalgia drag racing.
Hey welcome ! There’s a lot of “Gassers” on this site. If you can, we would love
to see some pictures. ty

Okay everyone,
The reason we came to this site was to find information on “The Mystery Willys”. A friend of mine from New Hampshire has known where the car has been since 1990. He called me on Wednesday and told me about the car and that the owner was desperate to sell it to raise money. My friend didn’t have the funds to buy it. The last time that he looked at it it was in pretty good shape. It has been sitting beside a barn in New Hampshire for the last 22 years. We did a google search last Wednesday and it brought us to this site. Anyways, i went down Saturday and looked at the car. It will be a huge undertaking to restore this car. I purchased the car because i didn’t want to see it deteriorate anymore than it has. The car is at my shop here in Maine. I hope this puts everyone at ease. We have sent a private message to mike and hope to speak with him soon. I believe that we have the right car. I looked at pictures that al had given to the owner. I verified that some of the chassis components match the picture. Will try to get more information from mike. As for the car being in Maine, unless it was raced here this is the first time that car has been to Maine. We will try to post some pictures and more detail when we return from the Gasser Reunion in Ohio. Thank you all.
