Al Sanuta,wow did that bring back memories! Back in 1960,I was working at Franklin Service Center,in ‘Jersey’.We had a green 51 Ford pickup ‘service’ truck Al lettered and pin striped.It looked great,however,Al always went wild with striping,and alot of people thought we purchased the pickup from a circus’,the way it looked! Living in N.Y. state since 66,I remember in 1970 I had a 67 Mustang fastback lime gold.The ‘C’ insert on the sides I had my friend and body man Larry paint it dark green.It needed striping to make it ‘pop’.I almost fell over when Larry mentioned Al’s name to do it,as Al was in the N.Y. area,it’s been years! Rule no#1 with Al,DO NOT DISTURB while lettering! Rule no#2,let Al know,’Mild’ pinstriping Please! He did a beautiful job outlining it in yellow,and only but a ‘few’ swirls at the ends.Thanks for the ‘memories’ guys.
