‘Mater’ Joe, Pete’s doing a good job;and if it turns out as good as the body did,he’ll have a ‘winner’!!! 😉 It don’t matter if your a Ford, Mopar,or Chevy lover, bottom line, there all “AMERICAN” made, and that’s all that counts!!! 😛 Mr.Pete.
we are glad you guys Like the “orange mustangs” Big motor 😀 and now that we have the heads we are on the road to assy. ❗ we are port matching the intake as per “edelbrocks” specs , we have degreed the cam and piston/valve clearance is next when we get the pushrods 😀 You can see how BIG the intake ports are with the gasket on them, and the differance in the intake ports 😀
THANKS for sharing the pix’s Mater, ‘Blue Oval’ power looking good!!! :geek: 😮 . By the looks of it, you’ll make the Dover Meet at the ‘Valley’ this year! Any changes or up dates on your ‘Tomato Bolt’ ? 🙄 Pete.
‘Mater’, I’m sure you had a lot of fun with installing those headers! I remember in ’69’ a good friend of mine had a new ’69’ Mustang 428 CJ. I gave him a hand a few nights, installing a set….”BUMMER” !!!! Cuts, bruises, and cussing out, took place!!! Not fun, that’s for sure, it was ‘tight’ quarters! 😡 🙄 Pete.
