Tom I’m nominating you for the “ODF” motivational inspirer officer. It’s 3AM and we know where Tom is! The car looks great, just one suggestion, check to make sure the car fits on the trailer, loads and unloads. With all the work on the car your doing don’t overlook that. This songs for you and Mary. http://youtu.be/VYSTn8oShjc

Pat…thanks for the reminder about the trailer. We did have the car on the trailer when we took it to Suncoast Performance. And we did have to modify the trailer to keep the headers from touching. If we didn’t do that it would have been easily overlooked. Now we need to see if we haven’t added too much weight to change that setup. Thanks again.
All suggestions are welcome, especially when we are rushed to a schedule and something minor could stop us from making it to NY.
Pack extra underwear & socks!
Tom,’A WORK OF ART’ The hot rod looks GREAT ❗ ❗ ❗ ❗ Pete.
Tom, I’m totally out of racing at this time in my life but I read all the posts on this site….I have to say that I look forward to going on the DDS site because of YOUR 55…It not only reminds me of the great old days but it reminds me of my close friend and my favorite mic : Mr. William T. Casey 😆 ….It’s one of the things that make me smile 😀 😀 😀 (Idon’t smile much, ask Shimer 😆 ) Your car is awesome. 😎 ..The real deal.. Just love it…Thank you for sharing the build with all of us 😀 😀 😀 Don Kauer…………….
Tom,somehow you should submit photos and story,to a popular magazine (like ‘Hot Rod’ or?) of you 55 Chevy project, from start to finish! I’m sure 100% of us ODF members believe,it deserves and had earned the right to have ‘full’ coverage of a ‘fantastic’ build,in a shade tree garage, and a guy and a wife, with ‘gifted’ skills, that resurrected a modern day clone,of there ole 55 Chevy gasser! Tom,the ‘first’ time you race it.I suspect you’ll have that same type of feelings going through you, like you had the first time you ran your original 55 gasser, back when! Others and myself,a big THANK YOU to you and your wife,on a terrific build and story to boot! Lebanon Valley awaits ❗ ❗ ❗ ❗
Babycakes……You said I might have the same feelings as I had the first time I drove the old 55. You might be more right than you think, If we don’t get a test secession in before coming to Lebanon Valley the feelings will be the same NEVIOUS. Did I do everything? Is everything tight? Did I forget anything? Will it go straight? etc. etc.
