Dino… Like your idea but all depends on how the bodywork comes out, the more slick the paint the more bad bodywork shows up. If the bodywork turns out not so good we go to Line X for paint. As of now we are expecting better than that but it will be a while.
Tom …only thing left original is roof and trunk -Right. That’s all new smooth stuff. Go for it …..Sand -sand -sand. Plenty of time this year Huh?
Dino….You are right roof, truck and the VIN plate only items left of the original. Just installed an air compressor big enough to do the heavy sanding and painting. Was loosing time waiting for the compressor to catch-up. while at the compressor installation ran lines all over the shop to have easy access to air everywhere.
Tom, looking good…..”Race Ready” ty 😛
Frank… 😎
Mas & You In the Comp Final …..That’s My Prediction
Tom. it may not look so good now, but the ‘diamond in the rough’ is really starting to show, cause your taking your time, and doing it ‘right’!!! 😉 Thanks for sharing the progress. Pete.
Heck Ton, I like it the way it looks now ❗ 😆 It’s a ”55 MAN ❗ ❗ 😆
It looks good at any stage of construction ❗ 😛 Keep up the good work Tom…ty
Frank… 😎
Take 4″ out of the roof. 😉
John
John…..That might make the car look good but I have a hard enough time getting in and out over the roll cage now. Not as flexible as we were back in the Dover days. 😆 Do like the idea though.
Tell me about it, that ease of movement.
The car looks great, and you’re doing a great job with the body. Quarters ain’t easy.
You done good,
John
Good job Tom 😀 And by the way you’re a handsome dude in those pics.. 🙂
THATS better… the old grill looked like an air conditioner inlet -0 No Offence. But I got the Hood emblem on…parking lights and original Grill Make the look! .
