That is fascinating…
Two photographs taken almost simultaneously…
and.. with one of the photographers in one of the shots.
One photograph shows the MG just slightly ahead of the other
by looking at the starting line.

These two cars are still available. It would be so cool if we could arrange a two out of three rematch just for posterity someday. Just an idea.

Getting the 55 ready for the trip north. Removed the open 2.75 street gear and replaced it with the 4.57 spool. Setup and squared the rear housing in the chassis.

😀 😀 😀 Hi Tom , it will be good to see you again , and your 55 , it is hard to believe it has been almost a year already , when we were getting blasted this past winter the time was going by slowly but since the snow melted the time has been flying by , see you soon and have a safe trip ,,, mike ,,, 🙂 🙂 🙂

We left Lakeland FL July 23 and headed north.
Stopped overnight in Walterboro SC.
Than we spent 3 nights in Chiswell VA and rode the motorcycle around that area.
Next we traveled to Goose Point Park in VA. One day we went back to NC for lunch. It was Rockingham County. Started to look up Dino’s address, thought we would surprise him but the county and the city are a long way off. So Dino we will see you at the Valley.
In are travels today we ran across a Chevy graveyard, one of the pictures is that graveyard.

We made it to Lebanon Valley Saturday. We surprised my son Sunday morning. He races the motorcycle/sled class. We got to cheer him on to a win and that win moved him into 1st place in that class.

Congrats on the win !!!!! …. we was down at the valley today and figured we would see how the Blake’s are doin’ .. nobody home… but… i wonder whats under the wrap…. 🙂 …
