I have never seen so many 55, 56 and 57 Chevy’s in my life all in one place. The night the event was over the line going out needed the police to direct traffic. Even today everywhere you look there are more of the Chevy’s being driven, being trailered or hidden in enclosed trailers.The first pass we made with our 55 the transmission failed, same problem we had before, no reverse/transbrake. Called the company that built the transmission and they told me they will build a completely new unit. Now it will be how to get it and install it before the Dover race.

The new transmission has arrived at Ronny’s. If he doesn’t sell it before I get there we will install it and make the Dover race. Ronny sent me a text that he has it on E-bay at half price and his phone has been ringing all day.

905 miles on the Rv and 750 miles on the motorcycle riding around the hills of KY. Went to the Corvette Museum and some caverns in this area. Got to see the 8 Corvettes that went down the sink hole. We leave KY tomorrow for Indy.

VBOB……The trans is in CT and we go there after Indy. The car still drives forward, just no reverse. Hoping we can get by at the US Nationals going forward only.

We made it to Indy. We were in the track but had to leave because we are one day early and they were not prepared for the show cars yet. The racers have the place packed and for a Tuesday before racing starts it was a very busy place to see. Scheduled to enter the track tomorrow at about noon.

Hey, glad you guys made it to Indy. It sucks that they were not ready for the show cars.
I’m listening to the live NHRA All Access audiocast. What used to be free, NHRA now charges us.
They really suck ❗ 😮 Let us know when you’re all setup and maybe snap a pic of your 55 in place.
Good luck and hope you don’t need to back that baby up too many times. 😆
