New converted old 8mm coming back soon…Think it has “the Ol Girl” in Action. Have some other clips too.
That would be SWEET,

rebuilt the steering box today and
started to get her ready for paint,
Red Fox could not have set it better
for having the Big One
got the paint & accessories today
YOW some increase since I did my
’28 woody panel street rod

Yes …The paint Industry has Changed dramatically….since the tred & true Laquers and enamels of the 60’s to the latest Base-Coat clear Coat urathanes….and so have the prices. Bobbys going with matching Abbotts original metallic Red -Burg. The shade is close to one of the all time popular eartly sixties colors – “Honduras Maroon”. I felt the “hit” of the current paint expenses with my former “Dino’s Custom PaintWorks”. We decided to just shut it down. The Economy- lack of respect for talented creativity and the “new Generation” that doesn’t get the Rush of a great Pearl Or Candy paint job. Look at the late sixties Funnys & Fuelers…Works Of Art…Ivos full body AA/FD at Dover ,along with Beebe & Mulligan, Don the’ Beach comber’ Johnson ,Shotts Last cars…and others . A Lost Era .. Bobby’s Car Back then was the Tip of the Ice-burg and he’s Recreating it the RIGHT way. We need More of these cars Preserved to show the “kids” what a real hot rod was all about .Pat’s Done it, Roger’s done it and theres more on the way. find ’em & fix ’em .
can’t agree more with you on saving & showing the next
generation of motor heads how it started.
I showed pictures of the girl to my friend son-in-law that
builds round-de-round chassis’s, he said
NO WAY would I sit over the rear end,
had to be crazy, as he put it,
just got off the phone with Bob long
the racer who I got HELLZAPOPIN from
he was talking with John Foley today
and showed him some of the pictures I sent up there,
John told him the story on how the chassis got bent
as in the yellow pictures on the forum
he borrowed some larger slicks from Ron
to see how it would improve,,,
he did a killer wheelie hooked on the push bar
and came down hard and side ways,
John is looking to see if he has any pictures
and ill send them to me for the dispaly history
I’ll pass any on to Dino for the ODF gallery.
only a few years to go to colse the history gap
on the girl
thanks for the interest,
Bobby S.
