I gotta call this weekend from Kevin Dunn(he’s like me,’ole’ school ‘Willys’ gasser nut) and yes,90% of our conversation was Willys gasser related;which it has been for many years when Kevin and i get together at Dover meets.To say the least,Kevin is a wealth of knowledge.He’s a man to be respected for his talents and skills when it came to building drag cars from scratch,along with street rods.To me Kevin is one of the ole ‘mentors’ of Dover Dragstrip for those who know and remember him there.I agree with V Bob;only wish Kevin had a computer.He is missing out on alot of the O.D.F forum he would certainly enjoy I’m sure.

Gen,got about the same here (2 inches so far) still coming down.Suppose to get a total of 5 to 6 here in upstate N.Y.had two more cow barns collapse yesterday around this area, along with a partial collapse of the Adirondack Sports Arena (the ‘Dome’) in Queensbury,due to the heavy amounts of accumulated snow we’ve had.A winter to remember!

I agree………Kevin is on the money………I spent some time in R.I. with him and Billy last year and he really has lots of knowledge on the old days and is still doing it today…….His new street rod is awesome.. 😀 😀 😀

3 weeks ago,

A friend was going true a mid life crises.

So he went and bought himself a Corvette.

He takes the Vette up on the true way.

He’s going 60,70,80, 90,100,110.

He goes true a speed trap, He don’t know he went true a speed trap.

The state’e starts to chase him, It takes him about 2 miles to catch up to him.

My Friend sees the Red white & blue, Red white & blue, in the mirror.

He says to himself, If I put the peddle to the metal he wont be able to catch me.

The State’e Gets up about 50 ft’ from him, He hammers it Hes going 130 now.

Then it dawns on him he probably got the plate # so I better pull over, by now the chase is going on for 4 miles,

He See’s a rest stop coming up so he pulls in to it, The State’e comes up to the car, and says,

You know I’m about to go off duty, If you can give me a good reason that you didn’t pull over

when you first saw me, and I know you saw me in the rear view merer, I’ll let you go, And it better be a REAL good one

So the guys thinks real quick, And says. :::::::::::

Two weeks ago my wife ran off with a State Trooper, And I taught you were him.

And you wanted to give her back. ❗

Dino,do you remember Leroy who worked the concession stand (pit side) at Dover ? I believe during the week he worked at a super market in Wingdale (?) Wonder if he’s still around and has any Dover memorbilia to share with the O.D.F ?
