Dino,’rain dates’,I know if it rains on Saturday (Aug.20th),you will ‘condense’ the 2 day event into Sunday (Aug.21st.),however (hoping it doesn’t) if it rains on Sunday also,will the event still take place on Monday,the 22nd.?

V Bob,I think George would have to ‘update’ the roll cage in order to run the full quarter with the times he turns,otherwise the option of 1/8th mile blasts.Perhaps he already did fabricate a ‘new’ one? Love to see it run again; it’s been a while.Good suggestion Bob!

Here’s a new first….just got texted, Atco Raceway (NJ) and Maple Grove (PA.) are shut down tomorrow due to excessive heat. 102 @ Maple Grove as I type this! Will reopen Sunday. Etown looks “cooler” on Sunday……87 😆 “Hot fun in the summertime”

…………….Due to the excessive heat that has been blanketing Southeastern Pennsylvania, Maple Grove Raceway has canceled all track activities on Friday and Saturday.The latest forecast from the National Weather Service has temperatures reaching 102 degrees on Friday and 100 on Saturday.”With these types of conditions, that we haven’t seen in years, we felt this was the safest way to go,” said MGR vice president/general manager Lex Dudas. “We don’t want to risk anyone’s safety, especially those sitting in a hot car.”
Auto Locator Grudge Racing on Friday and Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trail 8 on Saturday will not be made up.
Racing resumes on Sunday with Money Trail 9. Gates open at 8 a.m. with time trials at 9 and eliminations at 1 p.m.

Dennis, I think that County Line runs on Friday, but I’m not sure. I don’t really care, I just need to get the car on the track, 1/8th mile first, then a 1/4 mile, maybe Moroso. ………Mikey

Hi guys, I just checked in with V Bob at E-town. It’s a nice day there and plenty
of race cars. (Nice Ones) 🙂 First time trial V ran high 10’s. He was getting ready
for his 2nd time trial. Sounds like V and Paul (Tribute Willys0 are having a great time.
I will check back with him later on……….:-)
