Pat
HEY
Pat, G.Daons 33 is the long lost half brother separated after birth during the Soviet occupation !!!
‘V’
No Pat,two ‘different’ Willys,Paul’s a 34 and George’s a 33.George’s was completed around 10 years ago,and Paul’s AA/GS in 2007 I believe.George’s a show-street rod,and Paul’s ‘one bad” good looking Willys Gasser!!!!
Pete 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 . I know that!
My question, Is the brown unlettered Willys from that old dover picture, now the red street rod. I saw that at the Dover reunion in 08/09 and never got back to get a good look. It looks like my 34 Willys would have looked had I not sold it.
Pat
Pat, sorry to confuse you, that Willys was run by a guy named Sapino or something like that in the late 60’s.Rather than guess,George would know the history,or his close friend Kevin Dunn, who will be at the Dover 50 to give you the true facts on George’s Willys history.Sorry I misunderstood your question, see you and Mike at the Valley shortly.
HEY
Kevin Dunn told me Johny Lopiano, (sp), that worked for Al Z.at Beeline owned that brown 33 and ran AA not BB/GAS !!!!Johny also drove the Beeline Willys at times!
Just amessenger!!!!Peter Maple ,any help here??

……… Pat Love the 57 😀 … even know I was born in 56 😉 but where do you find these nice cars ❓ ❗ … and are We putting a fuel injector set up on this one ❓ like the MG 😀 ❓ ….. talk to me Pat 😀 ……………. tomato ❗
There’s one just like it in a driveway that I pass every day here in N.C. Same copper color too…! I could ask about it for you if you want me to. I don’t know anything about the guy or what he plans for it though.
I am serious. 😉
Maso I don’t know if you are refering to me or “mater” 😕 But I don’t need another one. You should find out about it anyway. And Mater plans are for putting FI on the car but much later.
Pat
Pat
Who is “Mater”…?
Eitherway.
Hey Pat,as V Bob mentioned,Kevin Dunn would know. It’s probably John Lopiano;s Willys.I remeber he had the triangle “Engle’ cams decal on the hood scoop.Only question I have is the difference in the hood scoops.V Bobs’ shows a ‘low’ profile scoop.I recollect the 4 port Hilborn injector, sticking above the hood (showing at least 3 of the injector stacks exposed,at about a 20 degree angle, with a Hilborn scoop I believe. It appeared this way before and after the ‘chopped’ top.Perhaps afterwards,he might have mounted the motor lower? Who knows? Hopefully Kevin can answer our questions,or Peter Maple perhaps,at the Dover 50.
