Just had an internet statistic outfit run the numbers on the DDS website Traffic. We’re averaging 405 visits(Hits) per day….Thats over 12150 a month, and inching on a MILLION AND A HALF per year ! A lot has happened since that first post. Coming up on 4 years this July.

Just in from Nascar.com–Carrol Shelby passed away at age 89. 🙁 🙁 Long live the COBRA. 😀 😀

LOS ANGELES – May 11, 2012 – Carroll Shelby International, Inc., (OTC: CSBI.PK) announced today that Carroll Hall Shelby, a man whose vision for performance transformed the automobile industry, has died at age 89. Mr. Shelby passed away yesterday at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. The cause of death was not disclosed.

We know racers have been left there for eternal rest!
We know about some of the arrests at the track!
Lets see if any of these things happened at Dover Drag Strip!Did anyone propose to their girl friend at the track?

Did anyone die at Dover Drag Strip?

NO, I did’nt find this in the attic!
John Hychko owner of Valley Auto Body and president of the Kustom Chariots Car Club Waterbury,Ct. is the builder and owner of the 32 Chevy!Last week,John took Paul and I to see the car! Paul said the last time he saw it was 55 years ago!It has been shown at the Hartford Autorama and has been in numerous car magazines!
