You are correct, Bobby. When I worked on different types of Transport Refrigeration, the Cold Plate units used that type of switch for all kinds of stuff. I still think that two switches next to each other would work. But, we still need more info from Pat. 😮 I hope he doesn’t get mad at us. 😯 …………Mikey 😆
Dino, John S. sent them to me. Got them today. Thank You…..
Frank…
Whew! 107 heat index …out since 9 am …back for a bit, then out again…think my deodorant failed at 9:02
The pool water is 93 degrees! How the heck does that cool you off?? I solved the problem by turning on the sprinkler system, and walking around like it was raining. Worked out perfect! Only a couple of bad memories popped up of getting caught in the rain while hitch-hiking, and you just know that nobody picks up soggy hikers unless they throw you in the back of a pickup truck. I know that from experience! …………Mikey 😯 😆
Think of the GOOD memories Mikey! Late 60’s-early 70’s, braless hippie chicks caught in the rain, happy to jump in a nice, dry car! Those same girls now could just tuck em in thier belt!
Boss, you are 100% correct. Too busy bitching to remember the GOOD stuff. Oh well. Got my loaner coil overs from M&M(Rich)today. Checked them out and installed them. Had to adjust the lower brackets to keep the ride height the same. Shocks are about 2″ longer than the ones that came off. I’m “high dollar” now, these suckers have chrome springs, mine were black. That should be good for at least 3 or 4 tenths!!. Gonna wash it tomorrow, and load it in it’s trailer, and off to the track we go. Patina, I am experimenting with switches, and different positions. rather than move my trans brake switch, I just put the quick release steering wheel on 180 off, and I’ve added a temporary button to operate the line loc. I think you can keep the line loc on the shifter and do a burnout and shift it manually, let go the button and grab the wheel as the brakes release. I’m going to try a few options, but the easiest to me would be moving the line loc button to the steering wheel, and doing just a first gear burnout, and experimenting with the RPM and length(time) of the burnout. Well, I’ve pretty much confused the hell out of myself, so I’ll just quit. ………….Mikey 😮 😯 😆
Mikey relax, your going to hurt your brain 🙄 🙄 . I do not run a trans brake and will just do a low rpm 1st gear burnout 😮 😮 😮 now take a nap and good luck with your Willys.

Thankyou. I, like everyone else just wanted to help, and have you wheel the MG. Hope you’re not mad. 😆
Ok …thats solved…Pat Drives…Mike puts down the bleach. Mikey maybe at the track tonight …New nickname > “Button man”
Rained out!! Will try for tomorrow night, I just hate all those damn “ricers”. 😈
Just got back from the track. Was able to make three passes again. Track was pretty slippery by the lights, but made some pretty fair runs. First run was a 7.06, fair launch and short shifted, got loose on top end and coasted through at 92mph. Second pass was a 6.82, did everything a little harder, but still not full out and it got loose again, but still went 114mph. Last run was a 6.88, no mph on that run, and got loose again. I really have to get used to the tree, it screws me up. As I’m staging, and get staged, I’m waiting for the lights to start down, and the other lanes lights go down (I’ve had three by-runs) and the red comes on, and screws me up. Oh well, I’ve only made six passes, what can I expect out of me. I’ll get the hang of it, I’m pretty happy and I’m having some fun. The shocks Rich let me use(and springs)are just a little stiffer, but not bad, and they seem to work good. Well, I’m worn out, I was alone tonight, had to do everything myself. First time using the enclosed trailer, thank God for the winch!! Good night. …………………Mikey 😆 🙄
I’m Still up – working at the shop….Mikey went to bed…see anthonyc and Maso are night owls. shutin it down for the night…..nite
Just a short note. My coil-overs are on there way back from California, but I don’t think they will get here by Friday. If they do, I don’t think I’ll have time to swap them over. I get to “stress test” the Carerra Coil-Overs from M&M again. I have promised myself that I will NEVER go there on a Saturday again. Not even for free beer!! ……………….Mikey 😮 😯 😆
