I’ll include easy instructions and you know my number to call for step by step help! 😀 Wish it was that easy to tell me how to change spark plugs…Jasons Dad had to bail me out once ,way back in the 80’s …right vinnie?
Just recieved a call from Jerry Duffy (Automotion) he has latest issue of CT Cruise News and Dover is in it again.
Pat
Joe -Original owner was Jerry’s brother in law.Originally called Ulster Automotive. Automotion ,a former Dover Event sponsor in the 70’s.I missed last months deadline ,so nice, that they saved it and used it now.Artical all about the “restoration” of Dover cars going on .
Happy Birthday Frank M! now you’re as old as me .
Holy crap……………Total Hollywood all the way………….High Tech…..Unreal……..Had a great time and learned that NASCAR is awesome……..The Cup cars 1000 HP on a single Holley………205 on the front staight………Had a Gold pit / garage pass …Went anywhere I wanted to………One of my best weekends ever……. 😀 😀 😀
Don, I was positive that you would have a great time. Nascar is really in a league of its own. And you are right about high tech and horsepower. Truly amazing what they can do with 355-360 cubic inches on a single Holley carb that’s not that big. Glad you enjoyed yourself. Even the very low dollar teams don’t have junk per say, they just don’t have the sponsor money to run in the top ten or fifteen. Those are the guys like us, who race because we love it. …………Mikey 😆

What’s going on ? last year at this time all we could talk about was the BIG RACE ! Sure is quiet out there . My plan is to get that high m.p.h. trophy this year .Last year it was 183 . I have already gone faster than that this year .Hoping for my first six second run this year .I would love to do it at Island
Billy:
…………….Stand by for the “RACE BLITZ” you’ll know it when it happens…been out “on the Road” more than in the shop lately. things just leveled out & the wife & kids are going to her sisters for a week …SO …I’l have plenty of time (No Scheduleto keep at home ) to be Cyber Dino .
Just wanted to let you guys know that the Hacketstown Comfort in is almost out of rooms, so order up. Marty(4X4)Timperio had some rooms set aside for Dover guys, but they’ll only hold them until Sept 1st. I booked a double, so I will have an extra bed if someone wants to pay for half the room. It’s for three days, Friday, Sat, and Sunday. You would pay half of $98.99 per day plus tax. ………….Mikey 😆
Mikey, do you serve continental breakfast with that? 😆 😆
Only if you’re hungry!! ………….Mikey 😯 😮 😆
STAND BY for an entire update..on this and enough stuff to fill an entire evening at the forum…get a cooler and a bag a chips…you’ll need it ( tell the wife, you’re doing research for the upcoming elections). 😎 …Wife and Kids pulling out tomorrow for a week at Myrtle Beach. NOT having to meet the home schedule and can hit the conmputer for a Ton of catching up.
Hey Guys,
Brother Bobby here. Billy has had a small setback and at the strong urging from his wife (I think she used a torque wrench), he checked into Westerly Hospital last week. This time the doctors didn’t mess around and the borrowed a skimmer pump from BP and hooked it up to a large Hoover. He had immediate relief as the fluid drained and pressure was released. They also changed his meds and he is responding very well.
He seems to be returning to his old self once again. While chating on the phone with him, someone came in to mop the floor. His comment was;'”Do you do windows?” This afternoon as we were chating again, a nurse came in to hook up a new bag of Kick-A-Poo Juice and Billy used one of his better pickup lines; “Nice outfit. You look like a UPS driver”. His spirits are high. All the biopsies have returned NEGATIVE and today the surgeon told him that they can take out all the external plumbing tomoorw and there’s a good chance of going home on Tuesday.
Tomorrow is Billy’s birthday and sister Mary and I will visit with him bearing baloons, an ice chest and home cooking. He refuses to “eat that slop” that they serve there.
He sends his regards to all.
Fondly,
Bobby
Really glad to here he’s doing so well. Tell him Mikey says hi, and so does everyone else, I’ll bet. ……..Mikey 😆
Like mikey said, glad Billy’s doing well. Happy Birthday Billy.
