Just Got an E-Mail From Les Madaus… He said : Just in case you haven’t heard… It’s official, Goodguys has once again pulled out of Rhinebeck… The new location in 2019 for their northeast event is the, York, PA Fairgrounds…. August 16,17,18

It will be interesting to see if NSRA makes some positive changes to their sinking event in York !

Bob,I did send him a card,about a month ago, which I’m sure he well appreciated hearing,from another ole Dover fart! I’ll be out shopping over the weekend,and priority will be another get well card to send him. He and brother Joe with the ‘Little Giant’ were like the mascots of Dover Drag Strip, back in the day, always there and very ‘tough’ to beat!!!……Wishing him well !!!…..Pete.

It’s bin quiet here. Just thought I would put this out there. At the last Dover race there was reserved parking in the middle of the pits for the exhibition cars and some of the other classes. I would like to see an area reserved for original Dover racer that are competing, so they car park together. Every year we are spread out all over the pits. It would be great if we had a reserved area to park cars and trailers together so we could share are stories and memories of our days at Dover.
