Frank… 😎
THANK YOU Frank, for the ‘info’, much appreciated! Back in the late ’60’s, till ’75’, I had one,and yeah, of course ‘modified’ it a bit,and was lucky, I won 1 trophy with it. Nowadays, they “FLY” !!! Over 100 mph! NOT ME! Up here I see them gassing up at a local Stewarts. WOW! They’ve came a long way baby, since my riding days!!! Looks and suspension are the utmost!!! I’m sure the price tag will put a dent in your wallet!!! Taking your advice in hand, now that I’m older, staying ‘Warm’, is the word to follow!!! 😉 😀 Pete.

Video… 😯
THANK YOU Dino and Maso,I got an education! I just went out to the mailbox, and couldn’t wait to get back in the house! Meanwhile, 2 ATV’s, along with 3 snowmobiles went zooming by me! I miss those days of riding, but my ole body don’t!!!! 😆 Pete.
Any ‘updates’ on the ‘Blown Hearse’ restoration from Billy Coleman, and while I’m at it, the ‘Little Hoodlum’ Willys being restored also? I wonder what the ‘status’ is, at present??? 🙄 Pete.
YEP! That’s Johnny Goll in his ‘Little Hodlum’ all right! THANKS Maso! Last time I saw the body only ( in decent shape) was 2 years ago at the ‘Valley’, for the Dover Drags. Just curious how the ‘resto’ is coming along?…..Pete.
Do you have any better pictures of it…?
I’d like to see…
😉
It looks like the ’40 Ford’s got a length on him unless The Hoodlum is on a tree handicap…
That’s likely because Ford Coupes like that don’t make very good Gas Class cars.
Did the D/G car get off first because the Willys is maybe a C/G car or better…???
Maso, I don’t know what the deal is on the starting line? Johnny hardly ever lost, I remember. Anyhow, go to ‘search’ (top right) of this forum. type in ‘Goll’. then scroll down to ‘Roll Call Who’s Coming? by Dino, the date was Sept. 11th, 2017. It shows a picture of what the
‘Willys’ looks like, nowadays, and what it looked like, back in the day, when Johnny ran it! The new owner is Bruce Caswell, from Bradford, N.H. He previously bought the restored body, of AL DeAngelis’ ‘Mystery Willys’,also. I have ‘no’ idea, how far he’s gone, restoring it , it’s been a few years, and I’m just curious???? 🙄 Pete.
Very good…!
I see now that both cars at the East Haddam track ( I have been there… ) were D/Gas cars…

The ’34 Ford at the beginning of Seabake’s video looks like it stole Mike McDermit’s paint job…!!!
I personally want to THANK Pat D. for informing me of a ‘GREAT’ loss, of a friend we knew ,who had a heart overflowing with kindness! His name was Tom Slattery, from Ulster Park. If you were from Kingston, Red Hook, Rhinebeck, and the Highland area, and had a street or hot rod, you’d look forward every Friday night,at a gathering across from the Capri Restaurant, to display your cars, THANKS to Tom, who specifically bought the land, for ‘our’ useage! Tom had some selection of muscle cars, gassers, what have you, all in ‘mint’ condition! He lost it all, due to his health issues, unfortunately. I can’t say enough about this guy,and he definately will be missed!!! May he R.I.P …Pete.
