I’ve got 2 things left to do for this month, taxes appointment to have done, and V.A. appointment here locally , then I’m free in early March to make the trip to see both Larry and Jerry for a ‘get together’. WOW! I just got word John Cassiol passed away! John is the one that lovingly restored Jim Oddy’s ‘classic’ Austin gasser ,and made sure it was ‘period’ correct to the way Oddy had it! Rumor has it John’s brother is putting it up ‘for sale’. John was a hellava nice friendly guy!…Pete.
I was at the “Golden Age Games” with the VA, they where in Buffalo at the time so I looked John up. He invited me over and we took some pictures together and of the car. It was a good time together. RIP John.

Pat, I’m sorry to say,and I should have mentioned it, this will hurt and ‘shock’ you. John committed suicide. Whenever this hits you with this kind of news , you always take it hard,and ask yourself “WHY”????? It will ‘never’ make sense!!!!……SORRY….Pete.
Curious to see if anybody has been passed the ole Dover Dragstrip lately, to see if construction has started? I know Lisa has moved away from there; maybe Richie Head might know? Also, what’s our ‘Dover Historian’ Brian, been up to? it’s been a while since we heard from him. 🙄 Pete.
