I’m headed to Ft. Lauderdale Wed-Fri. Wish I had time to make a trip up to Big Daddy’s- just too far a drive. Supposed to be 80’s there all week.
I know John……….I’ve lost all patience for this weather…Don’t know how much more of it I can handle……..Maybe one day……….Don…….
Hey, Don, if the weather holds, I’m going to Lakeland for “test and tune” Thursday night. Borrowed an E85 carb from a friend, until I get the parts(kit) to modify my Demon. At $2.67 per gallon, how can I not use it. And Just playing, the car went a 6:58 at 100.98 mph at the 1/8 mile by my house. First run was a 6:64 at 98.9 mph, both off the foot brake at 2500 rpm, and shifting at 6000 rpm. Car was really loose at the top end on the 3rd run, thought I was gonna wreck it. Still went 7:09, but only 79.8 mph. I’m sure I had too much air in the tires, and of course, I never checked it between runs. I started with 10psi, should have tried about 7psi, and checked it after each pass. I’m having fun, and learning about the car all the time. The alternator is perfect, 13.8 to 14.2 with everything on including the headlights, and the belt stays on. I just need to get a bigger pulley for the alternator to slow it down. Oh, I’m completely rewiring the trans brake, and if it still craps out, I’ll know that it’s the solenoid, and I’ll replace that too. PMd Tom Blake to see if he wants to go too. Don, get a damn plane ticket and come down, take my car for a few runs, tell me what it needs, have some fun. …….Mikey 😆 😆
Mikey…..See you everywhere. The Mustang is ready to be tested with the new transmission. We’ll talk Thursday after checking the weather.
You really should change your mind about that… 😉

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. — To the relief of the winter-weary, the world’s most famous groundhog is predicting an early spring.
Punxsutawney Phil emerged around dawn on Groundhog Day on Wednesday to make his 125th annual weather forecast in front of thousands who braved muddy, icy conditions to hear his handlers reveal that Pennsylvania’s prophetic rodent had not seen his shadow.
