We are camping and riding the motorcycle in the KY hills.
The builder of the transmission has built a brand new unit and has shipped it to my Son Ronny’s work place. Should be there Wednesday, tomorrow. The service from Jake’s Performance has been excellent. The fixture I made to change the trans from inside the car will also go to Ronny. We will install the trans at his place in CT. There will be enough time to test the trans on the street before going to the Valley and the Dover race.

FYI…Comfort Inn in East Greenbush HAS some Suites available now for Sept 24 Dover race. Just stayed there Friday after testing @ LVD. Got mine..don’t wait..going fast!

and it starts….a month to go…just ‘Crazy” down here at ‘race central’ …Might need some “helpers:” for various things …just burned up the phone lines for 4 solid days to get a replacement for the “Excalibur” that suffered major damage at Maple Grove last week. Got A cool replacement …see the post under “Funny Car Showdown”.At the track all day Friday (23rd)…see ya soon .

Another great show in El Segundo Ca., just south of the Los Angeles airport (LAX) Hot Rod mag. and Mattel are right there so there’s usually some interesting cars ! I’ll take some photos.

Went to Prospect ,Ct. car show today! Over 700 cars, hit most with DDSRace flyers!!!
Steve Magnante from Barrett-Jackson was there and bs’d a little and toldem to bring his Rampage MOPAR to the DDS Race!
