Hey Mikey, my son told me the Billet Proof drag meet was a 2 hour drive from Volusia Cty, but worth it. His hour and 15 minutes was a guesstimate. So are ya goin toTurkey Run?

The Forum was quiet today ,as many paid their respects to the Casey Family in Rhode Island. Church service is 10 tomorrow and the burial will be private. We will all go on with the knowledge that this is life and rain must fall at times. Dover Guys are Tough and our memories are what nobody can take from us. This new year has great things in store. We Go on, because we must.

Sorry i took so long to answer. I’ve been busier than a one armed paper hanger lately. I have relatives coming in from N.Y. and Las Vegas for Easter. so It’s pretty much not going to happen. Plus, they are having some special stuff going on at CFRC, that I want to check into, might take the Willy’s there. Got the electrical issues squared away, and also had some bad fuel. Should go like a Bat Outa Hell. …….Mikey 😆

mikey…..What problem did you find with the electrics? I remember the transbrake problem you were having and is that one solved? When are you going testing again?

Last night was a “who’s who of Northeast Div. 1 Drag racing………The Speed man had all his boys there and the stories went on all night………What wonderful family and friends….Warmth and love for Billys final trip……….A true Drag Racing LEGEND AND HERO to so many………….. 🙁 …………..Sad but happiness was all through the room just to be able to be there and be part of Billy’s life………

a lot of love there last night. The gallery of “SUPER PUMPKIN” pictures

Tom, the biggest problem found so far is the damn battery. I thought maybe I wasn’t getting it fully charged and it would get low and start dropping things off-line. I had it checked, and it’s just not enough amps to run all the electrical stuff in the car. I have not gone out again with the car, maybe next Friday. I still don’t have a bigger battery yet, but I will make sure that it’s fully charged all the time, even between test and tune runs. I was concerned when the battery got so low at your house, and the car ran terrible at Bradenton. I’m just waiting for my check to come in, and then I’ll get something around 850 to 1000ca. I hate this fixed income crap, I feel like a hobo. Also found out that my fuel was going bad just from sitting. I was using 93 octane with 108 Octane Boost, and it was making the fuel separate and evaporate to the point where I don’t think a lawn mower would run properly. No kidding, I went to start it Monday, 20 minutes before it finally fired up. I had flames coming out of the carb about 2ft high, and my gas grill has a nicer flame. I drained it and put some good stuff in it, and it fired right up and runs ssswweeeet! None of the tracks I run at have fuel, so I never put good fuel in it. I found a place in ST. Cloud that’s got what they call “104 at least”, for 4.25 per gal. ………….Mikey 😮 😯 😆

I really wish that I could have gone up for the service, but it was just not possible. I know Billy understands. It would have been nice to see some of “the guys”, and listen to and tell some “Billy Stories”. Just reading the posts makes me feel like I was there. ……………Mikey 😥 😀

Your Willys was throwing flames up and out the carberator when you were starting it at Island Dragway too. I saw it myself thorough your scoop were I could see it and you couldn’t. I thought you were going to ignite your fiberglass…! I remember you starting it up late on the Sunday, just before you put it back up on the trailer.

Some automated spam hacker hit us with 144 posts at 4 am…I hadn’t checked in as the coffee was still hot ,And Mikey And Maso tipped me off .I bounced him off and blocked his return. worst thing you can do is copy-paste or quote thier posts. those links usually have a virus.especially ..if you click on them .they can pull it off if they take the time…but I usually can stop them before their accont is activated… “The Spam stops here, cause we’re looking out for you.”
