Dang! 80’s here last week, woke up to the 30’s today!
I’ve got a new TCI trans and converter to put in my daily driver, a 1980 Plymouth Arrow pickup with a 360/904 combo in it.
A 318, 904 swap ongoing into my ’86 shop truck, and some local kid’s S10 to prime and paint this week. (Practicing on the Chevy so I make any mistakes on it so I can lay it down well on Bill’s new Scamp project)

Big Deal in town this weekend is “THE RETURN OF NASCAR” to the ROCK ( the Truck Series) ….as the local spin doctor politicians are calling it. Well ….I won’t be there….B O R I N G …..think real Nascar fans are focused on the CUP race .

Maso I was on line checking qualifying and its so hard to follow who’s doing what in what lane and where qualified. I can only imagine what its like live. Nah I’ll bewatching the Nascar race from Texas. Lagana looks good though in 11th spot.

I’m not a big fan of four lane racing, but now that I live in the Charlotte area that’s one of the few places where I can go anymore so I will check it out and give a full report tonight.

Somebody’s ‘gotta take the bull (gas companies) by the horns! This is ridiculous to say the least! As for instance;went to town ‘food’ shopping; at Stewarts Shop,gas (regular 87 octane) $4.09 a gallon.Came back 2 hours later,there sign read $4.13 a gallon,this was yesterday.Wonder what It’ll be up to today? Here we go again! Racing season,and once again,the gas companies dig deep and vacuum out our pockets,deterring many of us to cut down our drag racing schedule for 2012.Those who purchase racing fuel,besides regular fuel for your towing rigs,(unless your a millionare) I really feel for. Mr.President…WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE !!! Action speaks louder than words!!! DO SOMETHING NOW,instead of worrying about being re elected !!! 😡 😡 😡 😡

Yes… it is tough to follow four lane drag racing. I don’t like it much and I probably won’t go back for tomorrow.

Dominic Q’d in at #15. I saw him make two good runs today.

Anthony Terenzio was there with the Ryco Funny Car and Q’d in at #6.

One of Chris Karamesines’ crew men go knocked on his ass in a staging mishap. I saw it well because I just happened to be watching the jumbotron at the moment. It looked bad but he was alright.

Mater…I agree with Pat,definately a ’39’ Chevy business coupe (flat back seat). Still straining my eyes looking for that ‘fox’ head….can i get another hint ? :geek:
