MY LAST TRIP TO COSTCO
Yesterday I was at my local COSTCO buying a large bag of Purina
dog chow for my loyal pet, Jake, the Wonder Dog and was in the
check-out line when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog.
What did she think I had, an elephant? So since I’m retired and
have little to do, on impulse I told her that no, I didn’t have a dog, I
was starting the Purina Diet again. I added that I probably shouldn’t,
because I ended up in the hospital last time, but that I’d lost 50 pounds
before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of
most of my orifices and IVs in both arms.
I told her that it was essentially a Perfect Diet and that the way that
it works is, to load your pants pockets with Purina Nuggets and simply
eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it
works well and I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here
that practically everyone in line was now enthralled with my story.)
Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care, because the dog food poisoned me.
I told her no, I stepped off a curb to sniff a poodle’s ass and a car hit me.
I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he
was laughing so hard.
Costco won’t let me shop there anymore.

Better watch what you ask retired people. They have all the time in
the World to think of crazy things to say. Forward this (especially)
to all your retired friends…… it will be their laugh for the day!!!

Sorry For The Inconveniance Of The Forum Being ‘down’
Seems some kind of glitch screwed up the Data Base that controls the whole thing…Kind of like a transmission.Plenty of memory and power …just couldn’t get it to the rear wheels 😆 Fought with the Tech-geeks at the server that hosts Us for proper Customer service ALL Morning.Interesting places like Manila-St.Louis-Penn. First said they “coudn’t get to it til TUESDAY !…a job that takes 5 mins. When I finally called the Executive offices and got a Vice President….Filled her ear….Things got done. Hey …’I’m from NEW YOUK ! TUESDAY? faget about it ! …Guido and three fingers Louie might have to make a little”visit”. So’s Dats Me Story…Success is sweet. Rhinebeck On today and Tomorrow-Brian & Pat are there….Lebanon Sat-Sun…NETO …Sunday Duchess Cruiser’s Pawling Show…Cap Area Rods At the Valley -SUN….Sat -Royal Auto Parts Deal in Hopewell….Check Hudson Vally Cruise Site For Events And look For Ct.Cruise News at events tonight and this weekend….Clady Just unloaded the Van with the latest issue (WE’RE IN IT!).Me ?-I gotta work.

CBS Evening News just had a report on safe driving , distractions etc. with all the displays in the dashboard of new cars and they showed testing cars at good ole Connecticut Dragway Cholchester,Connecticut which is now the testing grounds for Consumer Reports !!HOOOORAAAAAAA!!!!!

Hey Mater,good to hear from ya,been a while.Hope you get your computer back running shortly! Well,I guess looking for consistancey, and (hopefully) ‘trouble’ free,C4 is the way to go.I guess it’s ‘modified’ for racing,right? What’s the stall speed on the convertor your putting in also? Year’s ago,I had a C6 (hooked to a 390,in a 66 Fairlane) that was bullet-proof (modified of course).Yeah,I’m sure your gonna miss ‘banging’ the ole 4 speed;think positive and adapt to ‘modern’ times! Hey! How’s the garden coming along? 🙄
